Cort Introduces The New Gold-08 Acoustic
The new Cort Gold-08 features Pau Ferro tonewood, an 8-Series abalone/mother of pearl inlay and a solid Sitka spruce top.
The Gold series guitars use a special process called ATV (Aged To Vintage) to treat the solid sitka spruce top in order to give it that big, open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process means that where previously it would take some time to develop that mature aged sound we all know and love, the Gold-08 gives you that tone right out of the box.
Cort also uses a special UV finishing process that is thinner and designed to be less constrictive on the instrument allowing more natural movement of the sound board.
As well as the existing Natural Gloss the Gold-08 is also available in a new Light Burst colour option.
Also featured is a modernised X-bracing system, a tight-fitting traditional dovetail neck joint, a 45 mm genuine bone nut and saddle and a rounded fingerboard edge. The guitar’s mahogany neck is reinforced with walnut for added stability.
The Cort Gold-08 is available now for $1049.99
