Re: Midge Ure Talks Synth - 1983 BBC Documentary.

I am always torn between two bands whenever I hear Ultravox , The silky hits with Midge Ure singing were massive but just after I left school around 1976 someone had lent me the first Ultravox album with John fox as singer and I was blown away and even now if I play any Ultravox it,s always the John...

Re: Yamaha P-70 Key Not Working

Most likely there will be a hair between the contact strip and circuit board requiring a tear down and clean , If the carbon contact is worn out then the contact strip is available online . https://syntaur.com/yamaha_p.html

Re: The Revstar nut - clearing up the confusion about Urea

My 2017 Stratocaster nut is described as synthetic bone, which sounds much nicer than saying its made from old recycled milk cartons or whatever, may even be Urea .

Re: sustain pedal problem

I don't no if the switch is latching or none latching type but both should switch off instantly . Try a Multi meter across the cable socket to check if the switch is hanging in the on position .

Re: Yamaha DGX-650: Problem with C# keys not working when D is pressed

On touch sensitive keys the carbon contacts are in sets of 2 or 3 and and a soft key press will contact one , a liitle harder will contact two and so on . Yours contact strips are faulty or there is hair and dust stopping the contact . I have only cleaned the contacts on a Casio so can not help with...
