Re: The New Yamaha THRII Series Amps

I am now wondering what real amps these descriptions exactly referr to? To me it seems like they are not the same as in the old 10/10c/10x amps , or maybe the are just in another order, could that be? May anybody with more knowledge of the listed amps enlighten me? Hi Chris, welcome to the forum an...

Something like this might be more useful though?

Yeah, I like that, a modern version of the old Yamaha EZ-AG and EZ-EG.

Re: When you're really desperate...

Usually I would say "anything goes", but (imo) those contraptions serve no real purpose.
As a learning tool, it only gets you started the wrong way.

In case of a handicap, this might work, rock on. :music-guitarred:

Yamaha Pacifica USA-1 , Absolutely vulgar, I love it.

I doubt the price ends up as low as it is now. ;)

Re: Thr10 intermittent sound fix?

Hi tanhongray, welcome to the forum and the string section. :D

Once you get your THR home, find out what works, and what doesn't, then we'll take it from there.
We will do our best to help you, but a first hand description from you + some pictures will get us right on track.

Re: Vintage Yamaha amp test

Sounds GREAT, Yamaha amps usually do. :music-guitarred:

I wonder if it is only the JX amps own distortion used ?
IMO the G series amps have a rather weak overdrive/distortion, but with pedals they do metal nicely.

Wow, Thanks. ((i))

This topic is a brilliant read, I truly enjoyed it.

Fascinating instrument, doesn't look like much, but it can make some beautiful tones.

Rock on Shelly. :D

" Pretty loud for a desktop practice amp."
One big question came to mind …….
Does the THR-30 II do almost quiet as well as the old THR models ?

Re: The New Yamaha THRII Series Amps

I am a previous 10 and 10C owner. Both were amazing units. Hard to believe these things could sound so good. I recently received my THR II 30W. This thing is equally amazing. The features are great. Can do pretty much anything with it. The wireless works great. The connectivity is outstanding. I tr...

Gotcha Chris, one of your shortest performances from 6:42 to 6:52 8-)

I hate moving too, planning to stay in my present home to the end. :music-guitarred:
