Re: Anyone with a vintage Yamaha Grip ring for tone knob or just a tone knob?

Every once in a blue moon, this part may come up for sale,
but I guess it takes a great bit of luck. :(

Here's a thought …
maybe the plastic part can be 3D scanned and printed ?

Let us know how the hunt goes.

Re: Yamaha MusicCast VINYL 500 and TT-S 303 Record Players

Ohhh YES :D Using mp3 from a computer is so much easier to deal with. I haven't played vinyl for over 15 years, but I never had the heart to get rid of my records and old stereo rack. Once I have moved, the rack and the BIG speakers will have a trial entry in the living room. I'm so looking forward ...

Re: Any fretless players?

Very cool project ((i))

I have tried a fretless guitar and a fretless bass.

For me this task is too difficult, I played totally out of tune. :(

I'm looking for a Studio Lord, but I'm working with a budget of $200. Is it reasonable to expect anything half decent in this range?
They generally cost from double that to a lot more, but you might find one at a garage sale.

Re: THR Editor software question.

But it would be far more simple  to choose your patch for the first amp in the Editor then switch to the other amp in the Preferences window and to choose another patch for that one... Each amp will keep its settings until you power it off. Vincent Ah, you're on to something there. Each THR am...

Re: Electone MR700T.

Hi Artie. Some years ago I bought a Yamaha Electone C-55 hoping to get familiar with keyboards. It was dead cheap and so much fun …. only one problem … it was too difficult for me to become a keyboard player, I SUCKED at playing  Less than a year after, I sold it again. It was good fun, and I ...

Re: THR Editor software question.

I haven't had a chance to fire up my Editor software yet. Does anyone know if it has the ability to control two amps at once? I was thinking that since I had the good fortune to snag a pair, it might be cool to run into my MagicStomp first, (which has stereo outputs), and then into both THR's. It c...

Re: NGD! Yamaha SX 900B

Mine at least has a 5 way switch so it can get those strat tones, not sure if its original or not since due to the lack of info these guitars have. Your SX-900B is original with a 5 way pickup switch. :D This is also the case for the SX-800B and Y.M.T. Exart NSX-2000. It's true that they can produc...

Re: Studio Lord

I would have expected it to say so on the truss rod cover. I have only ever seen covers with standard written on them on Lord Players. Cheers Bill. The truss rod cover looks like a modified Gibson bell. (possibly aftermarket of copy) I doubt it's a Yamaha truss rod cover. Also, the two bottom screw...
