BC-1 Manual and general use

Hi All, I've got a couple of BC-1 breath controllers and haven't really explored their use until now. I've tried looking for a manual online and all I can find is one for the BC-3. So my first question is... Does anyone have a PDF of the BC-1 manual? I don't imagine it was anything more than a small...

Re: Yamaha FS1r Battery Replacement Guide

I just bought a used FS1R, and am planning to replace the battery just in case. And because I want to start with a clean slate, I also plan to do a factory reset. So is it true that I don't have to worry about losing any data due to the battery being momentarily removed? IOW all I would be losing i...

Re: Finally joined the club!

Congratulations, they are a a fantastic and now quite rare unit. This one does look very clean. I've seen them being advertised for silly money, so I hope you got it for something sensible. I bided my time and got what I thought was a good deal :) I've wanted one ever since they came out, and even ...

Kurt may have borrowed the one for his sample library, but according to Reinhold one came up for sale in Germany or Austria that Kurt was able to purchase.

Re: And so from the ashes a Phoenix will arise...Full Yamaha VP1 Rig !

Thank you Manny for your reply. I have recorded a video and made it unlisted on YT so I hope it will help with the diagnosis. As I wrote in the video description, I am sorry about the crackly sound. I did not realize I was holding the phone over its microphone. Also, for the potato quality... Link:...

...Kurt Ader's (The KAPro sound guy) I need to ask Kurt the serial number of his... that would give more info Manny It was my understanding that Kurt was loaned the VP1, quite possibly from Yamaha Germany? I recall him posting about it, saying that he had it on loan to create a VP1 based sound libr...

Re: SY22 Factory Reset

As from my understanding by performing the last procedure of the inbuilt test program the internal memory gets initialized and needs a reload of the data to 'get the synth back to life again'... Turns out the Initialisation option within test mode restores the internal patches too :) No reloading r...

SY22 Factory Reset

I'm going to be dumping a load of new banks into my SY22 later in order to store them on a memory card so I will be overwriting the factory internals and then saving to the card. Once I am done, will a system initialisation restore the factory patches or do I need to reinstall them?
