Re: Guitar therapy for military vets with PTSD

SysExJohn; It's always been hard for me to hear stories of the things some children have lived through. (Andy will sometimes change the channel on TV because I will carry it for days). Children are vulnerable and trusting. Life is not always kind to them and it's grievous. It's always my hope that t...

Guitar therapy for military vets with PTSD

This is so cool. There was a gentleman in our community starting one of these. (He was with the VFW). It is free guitar lessons for military vets with PTSD. (My husband was in the Vietnam war). His plan was actually to give them the guitar after they completed the lessons. I'm sure it wasn't an expe...

NO KIDDING!!! If my husband gets me flowers, they'd better be in a pot so I can plant them outside! I'm not typical though and a lot of women love them. I dunno, I have mixed feelings about them. "Honey, these are a symbol of my love....." (The flowers sit on the table while the the petals eventuall...

Re: Anyone else's musical technology acquisitions effected by the 'current situation'?

My jewelry supply places from China are all closed down. My main supplier for components won't be shipping until March 1st "due to spring festival". (That must be a new holiday. I've ordered from them for years and don't recall that one) ... Manyof the sellers from China on Ebay have closed ...

I sent you a link to the only website from India I could find for used vintage keyboards. (In your message inbox). I didn't go through the inventory, but there are a lot of models. I don't know anything about that webstore or what would be considered a good deal over there, but I sent it anyway. You...

Re: Hello from Ottawa, Ontario Canada!

Welcome to the forum :D Feeling like a kid on Christmas eve, right? It's really fun to look at YouTube videos when you're shopping for something new .. I can't play guitar anymore (damage to my hands prevents me from pressing down on the strings), but keyboard has been a new venture. Although it's n...

Hi; I loved this. :D Something about living room music with friends and family that brings back good memories. He is able to get a lot of music out of his keyboard and it was sweet to see the lady listening .. and was that his daughter playing guitar? I really hope you have success finding a great d...

Re: Blowin' Up A Storm

Really excellent! Love the pristine instrumentation and how the song evolves with each movement. Some very nice solo moments, like the trumpet. The rhythm really does represent the forward momentum of the car.. windshield wipers .. and then the thunder. Yep, you captured exactly what inspired you; d...

Oh my gosh ...
The cute meter is way in the red.. Cuteness overload..

What is it about cats, though? Anytime you want to do a project (study..write..draw..paint..etc) they plop their furry selves right in the middle of it.
