Re: Hello from Australia

Hello, and welcome. I’ve been to Brisbane a few times on business, and always enjoyed my time there.

I don’t have a GENOS myself, but others hear do, so hopefully you will find what you are looking for.

Re: SY77 ENTER button - MIDI

Hi Guys! I im stumbling with some songs that show a i.b.h. Timeout on MIDI Interface error. This only happens when i import at SY FActory some songs. Not all of them. Bulk is set to off . and also Transmit Buffer size 2,048. Some songs transfer without issue, however im imagining heavier size seque...

Re: What To Do With Broken Controller (Can't Repair It)

Sell it for spares? Look out for another one, knowing you will have spares for the bits that didn’t fail If they fail on the “new one”?

Thanks. It’s great to know that it does have utility. As you may have seen, we did not have a wealth of responses to the announcement! ;)

Re: EX5Tech.co.uk Resource Site

Yikes! Was it three years ago that Jim and I set this up? 8O The problem with the main EX5Tech.com site is its forum was running on a very old version of PHBB and for some reason the database for the forum got corrupted and Ski (who was the only one with access as it was his site) did not have the t...

Re: Montage/MODX : deleting parts / on what guide ?

Hi, It's not a very intuitive operation to get to the context menu to delete a part.... I find the Montage GUI quite intuitive other than the context menus that only appear when you click in a name (either performance name or part name). Even three years on since having my Montage, I need to think a...

Re: Shipping from the UK to EU mainland

When I used to sell, i would quote for UK shipping, but ask people to get in touch with me to quote for international shipping as you can;t quote for all couuntries My CS15 synth went overseas and all was fine. Cost a lot more, but the buyer was happy to pay that. So we were both happy. I did take l...

Re: Sound is soft and muddy when playing through speakers

If it is internal speakers I would not expect a problem with latency at all or poor quality as the speakers should have the right response range. I would therefore get them checked out.

Is it a new keyboard under warranty?

Re: Sound is soft and muddy when playing through speakers

Hi. What speakers are you playing through? Are they full range speakers? And are you playing through a computer system that is introducing latency? Only things I can think of for starters. But it would certainly help for you to describe your setup in a little more detail? Headphone outputs are norma...

Re: Oberheim MC1000 - 88 Key Master Keyboard - Worth It?

I think it was a good master keyboard for its day, and if working fine should be good. I guess the thing to consider is what the asking price is compared to a more modern 88 key controller. Studiologic is the name that I think that John was think of? But fatar keyboards are in quite a lot of other d...
