Sad news - Steve Harley, founder & singer of Cockney Rebel, died aged 73 due of cancer.
I remember songs such as 'Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)', 'Sebastian' and the Beatles-Cover 'Here Comes The Sun'...
RIP Steve!

Re: Yamaha Electone MC-600 Help
Hello Miks. Thanks for your answer. I tried your suggestion and it worked. That's great! ((i)) But, about the Shuffle function, you have no idea? No, sorry - I've never seen or touched any of those Yamaha organs in person... In any case, thanks again for your response. You're welcome 8)

Performance List for the TX802
I've spent some time on Excel to (kinda) 'recreate' the Performance List for the TX802.
And I add an empty Performance list so one can note their own Performances if needed... Enjoy...

Re: TX802 very weak sound output
I recommend to check if the muting section of the TX's circuitry is working as it should - which to me seems not to be the case due the headphones are working...

Re: DX 7 mark I Battery problems
Now i have measured IC11 pin4 (in6) and i've got some different reading due to IC 19-20-21 the meter showed 0.407V is that correct ? On one side (by looking at your picture I think it's the 'lower' pin) of the 10 MΩ resistor definitely the same voltage as on Pin24 of IC19, 20 & 21 must be measu...

Re: DX 7 mark I Battery problems
Now i have measured the ic 19-20-21 and they are ok. I measured Pin 24 on ic 19/20 and 21 to 3.1V. That sounds good (Y) The connection of the soldering side of the pcb ( the bridge between the pads) is ok too. Japp, looks fine. Now is the question, what to do next ? The battery voltage goes across ...

Re: DX 7 mark I Battery problems
Hi Halvard, welcome to the Yamaha Musicians forums (Y) The chips IC19, IC20 & IC21 are the internal RAM of the DX7 - they're holding the internal sounds. If the battery power fails the memory chips will be erased - they need a constant power level to keep their content. I suggest to do the follo...

Re: DX7IID - output from mains drastically lower than from headphone jack?
Maybe the muting circuitry which mutes the A & B outputs for a short while (to prevent a loud 'plopp' if an amp is already connected to the DX and switched to ON) is faulty or not getting the appropriate/correct signal coming from the reset routine across IC18... After taking another sharp look...

Here's what I found (so far):

Btw: the term (Center Tap?) for CT is my guess...

Re: SY35 Internal Card Preset Keys are freezing the unit.
Long overdue update: The issue is now resolved. It seems there was a trace broken somewhere. I skipped "faulty" trace section by soldering bypass wire to the nearest working junction. Even after a long time - it's good to hear you've got that issue (somehow) solved (Y) Thanks for reportin...
