Sending sysex from the MX49

Unread post by AlfredAnthony » Sat Feb 09, 2019 5:56 am

I was wondering if there is a way to capture and transmit performance data from the Mx to a sequencer. Does it save every program or just one at a time? Thanks

Are you asking about using SysEx to send a bulk dump to a DAW, and to receive a bulk dump from a DAW, where the bulk dump contains all of the setup information about one or more of the User Performances?

I have found a solution to my original problem but I don't think the MX does what I thought it did, which was a full patch dump via sysex but still learning so I could be wrong.
