Looking for "You Got Lucky" synth sound on an MX88

Unread post by MarkG66 »

Hi All,

I just picked up an MX88. I was hoping someone could give me some pointers on how to nail down the synth sound for Tom Petty's "You Got Luck".

Many thanks for any and all help!

Peace....Mark

I think there are at least two synth sounds used. One of them sounds like a standard sort of "synth brass" patch. The other one sounds sort of like an organ patch-- unless it is an organ.

Hi Mark, welcome to Yamaha Musicians. There is an area for MX88, I have moved your topic there where other like-minded owners may be able to help as well.
