Can I use the XLR and TRS outputs at the same time on a yamaha MG mixer?

Can I use the XLR and TRS outputs at the same time on a yamaha MG mixer?
Eg XLR to active speakers and TRS to camera? (instead of using the aux's for camera)?
Thanks

Hi cgullcharlie,

welcome to the forums (Y)

Maybe you should be more specific which particular mixer of the MG series you have in mind...?

I was wondering if they have individual output drivers or they share the same driver

According to this graphic from the user manual I dare saying: YES
Stereo-Out MG12.JPG
The XLR and the TRS jacks are connected in parallel...

At first glance I thought it showed separate drivers, but actually the TRS and XLR in the diagram are split off AFTER the driver. I suppose its down to whether the camera and monitors represent a hi impedance load or not, which I hope they would as this is line level output.
Worst case I could maybe get something like this "the t.racks DS2418" or if I have 2 aux not used then run that to the camera.
