Hmmm. That's really nice, I didn't know Reaper had that tool in it. The changes are very subtle, just enough to fix the vocal track, not so much that you'd ever think "AutoTune".

In actual fact, the so-called Cher-effect is caused by WRONG SETTINGS in AutoTune.

I know :)

That's why I referred to it as the "autotune effect" as opposed to using autotune for vocal correction

Just a little update on Vocaloid . . . .

I asked the question of Zero-G Ltd about Vocaloid2' PRIMA bank . . . . . . sadly, THIS is the Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, there are no plans to make Prima 64bit and Vocaloid 5 compatible.

Best regards,

Zero-G Support
I might point the same question at vocaloid.com and see if there's any difference.

I thought PRIMA sounded good and seemed very promising?

Vocaloid5 looks and sounds good - but still too couched in the Manga and related genres for me to consider as usable -

AND it's EXPENSIVE . . .

SURELY . . . . . It would NOT take too much work to COVERT/UPGRADE PRIMA to 64bit and Win10?

All the Hard work has been done, surely and lives on IN THE SAMPLES? (unless I'm NOT understanding something?)

Such a shame. (I have an evaluation copy ;) of Vocaloid2 inc PRIMA but it only works on 32bit XP - or possible Win7)

If PRIMA became available - I would probably spring for Vocaloid5.

Here's what it sounded like: zero-g.co.uk/products/vocaloid2-prima
