Interesting Bass

Unread post by jllp128 » Sat Apr 22, 2017 10:08 am

I few months ago ago I acquired a rather interesting bass guitar. It was advertised as being a 1990's Aria bass but upon checking the s/n etc I have established that it is an 1970's lawsuit Rickenbacker copy. Parametric advised that he thought that members of tyhe forum would be interested in seeing it even though it is not a Yamaha model

Yes indeed, that is a copy very true to the original design, if it wasn't for the name on the headstock, it's a ringer.

Is the SOUND close to a Rick ?

Thanks for posting.

The sound is very true to the original Ricky sound, although it only has a single jock so is not capable of the 'stereo' sound that the original rRicky is.
