DX7 Schematics

Unread post by AndyHornBlower »

Schematics for the Yamaha DX7, presumably Mark 1. I've indexed a few points on the diagram, but the bookmarks might work slightly differently in other PDF readers. I used Foxit Reader 3.1.something (an old version).

Foxit Reader 3.1.something can be downloaded from here:

download/file.php?id=3474

It may offer to install some crapware - just say no. Apart from that it, it's fine, and I've used it for years.

I've spent countless hours over several weeks and 'reworked' the DX7 Mk.I schematic - hope someone likes it & finds it helpful as well... :D

Really :?: :?: :?: I've set NO passwort - you should be able to open it after the download just by a double-click...

Yes, really.

I'm still using Foxit Reader 3.x, so maybe it's not compatible, but that almost never happens. Being asked for a password when there isn't one set, is not something I'm used to.

I get this prompt:

Entering a blank password didn't work.

That's odd! I've downloaded the file I've uploaded just to see if and what's wrong - absolutely no problem, no password required...

javelin276, how about you? Have you been asked to enter a password when trying to open the pdf file?

Fair enough. I expect it's all part of Adobe's  plan to make everyone use their reader, even though it's meant to be an open standard.

I'm reluctant to install that again, but I'll have another look for alternatives, soon.

I've used a program named PDF24 to make a pdf out of the schematic - never had any problems by doing so. A double-click and the pdf file gets opened by Adobe Reader DC I have installed...

Edit: Andy, please try again, I've swapped the above pdf file. Let me know if it works for you this time...
