Lag after pressing on-screen buttons?

Unread post by mitya » Thu Dec 27, 2018 3:57 pm

I just want to check this isn't just my model.

For me there is always at least a small lag after selecting an instrument - and this lag can be longer if the device has been on a while or the instrument is a complex, multi-part one.

Tell me it's not just me and that everyone else's MODX responds instantly to presses!?

I'm on the 88, incidentally.

I would expect load times to be slightly longer if there is a LOT of data involved,

but not so much as to be worth mentioning - generally . . . .

I can't see that length of time ON should figure at all . . . .

Any one else noticed this perhaps?

I haven't noticed the MODX being especially "laggy" compared to other instruments I own. It's certainly not as slow as the KingKorg for instance, and the Krome (when I owned one) was sort of awful in this respect.

THe MODX appears to be more-or-less instantaneous.

Can you estimate how many milliseconds lag we are talking about?
