Touchpad Troubles

Unread post by madwiser » Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:52 pm

I have lots of trouble operating the touch screen during live performances. I create a Performance with voices that I want to solo/mute quickly. The touchpad seems very unresponsive. I hit solo - nothing. I hit it again - nothing. I keep repositioning my fat finger until it finally takes. I have this issue with all touchpad commands in all menus. Seems like most of the time the first press doesn't work. :x :x I have re-calibrated many times.

1) What is the best screen/display to use during a live gig to get a large solo/mute button?

2) Is this touchpad issue common?

I had the same, but all went well after recalibrating (except for the qwerty keyboard, there I always make mistakes). I guess you have more than 4 voices to switch using Scenes?

Calibrating with a stylus and then using the stylus is the only thing that gets accurate results for me on the Performance Home screen.

If I press the [PART SELECT MUTE/SOLO] button, then the buttons on the touchscreen are usable with my fingers.
