Possible to set the point at which a waveform starts playing?

Unread post by GuyDenruyter » Sun Apr 14, 2019 2:52 pm

I would like to modify the waveform's starting playback point in an Element, e.g. start playing after the 256 first samples or so. This can be useful to cut off the initial "pluck" or so within a sample. Moreover, I would like to have this modulated (e.g. velocity sensitive). Many synths allow this, but I couldn't find the parameter in the ModX - any help appreciated!
Kind regards.

This would be super cool for general sound design applications. To modulate sample start point and loop length too could even approach granular synthesis territory. Worth adding to the wishlist sticky at the top I think.
