Performance select via pedal

Unread post by skatsikas » Sat May 25, 2019 2:54 pm

I really struggle with the touch screen during a live performance to change sounds while holding on to a previous sound. I've hit the wrong performance in live mode a couple of times which sounds awful. Wondering if I can have a foot pedal advance to the next performance and back. A dual foot pedal is made my m-audio and a few other companies.

As an alternative, why oh why can't I use the scene select buttons to map onto a live performance? Both questions reflect my discomfort with using the touch screen for rapid changes during live performances. Hands free would be nice.

Got an answer....assign pedal to Live Set + and Live Set - should do it.

It would sure be nice to configure the scene selects to be "performance selects" too, but this ought to get me what I need.

The question does remain....is there a dual footswitcher out there that will allow me to go up and down?

Don't know about the pedal, but with other keyboards I used SetListMaker application for iPad to organize my gig- and you can have MIDI program change associated with every song
