Revert after motion sequence?

Unread post by mitya » Thu Jun 13, 2019 11:11 am

Can someone tell me the proper way to revert from the effects of a motion sequence?

Example: let's say I have two scenes, and on scene 1 I have the MS enabled, which increases the pitch of a part. I then switch to scene 2, which has no MS, but the pitch on the part stays what the MS in scene 1 made it by the end of the sequence.

To me it seems there should be some obvious way to revert. Like how if you change cutoff, res etc during a scene, when you go back to that scene it reverts to the scene defaults.

The only way I've found to do this is have an MS on every scene, and when you want to revert just have a 1-cycle pattern with zero amplitude, translating to 'no effect'. But this seems very hacky. Can anyone suggest a better way?

Thanks in advance.
