AKAIK - yes, it does! If BT is on the device is searching the whole time for another device to pair with - and this results in higher power consumption. It's the same with WLan/WiFi - if I leave it ON on my iPad (or my cell phone) the battery gets emptied a lot faster. 8O
Thanks Miks, that's great. I really was not sure.

On the Amazon Fire, if you are not online or using bluetooth, the battery lasts for weeks! - I kid you not.

Hi,

Sony just advised me that the only possible way to charge the wireless-headphones is via a USB/PC. Personally, I much prefer a mains-plug (like you can with the Amazon Fire):

Yeah, those 3-pin usb wall-warts are increasingly available for charging many usb devices.

You'll doubtless have noticed that twin 13 amp wall sockets are available too that include a pair of usb sockets for the same purpose.

Hi,

I have paired my new Sony wireless phones with my Amazon Fire tablet - enabling bluetooth. However, I think I may be experiencing some drop-outs in signal/connection. I mean, when listening to my FLAC music files (being played via my tablet), sometimes the music goes silent for a couple of seconds and then continues again as per normal! Can you get drop-outs between paired bluetooth devices, please?

I ask because I have no experience here in this matter (having never used bluetooth before).

Ta,

Paul
