Sad news. RIP Ric - front man of a great band.

Songs like “just what I needed”, “my best friend’s girl”, “since you’re gone”, “good times roll”, “heartbeat city” and of course “drive” will stay with me forever.

The CARS were among the greats.
It always bums me out when a great artist passes.

R.I.P Ric Ocasek, and Eddie Money.

Very sad indeed, especially so when they go at this time of year :(

Musicians though, much like actors and all artists at least leave a body of work behind which is timeless. The Cars of course will inexorably be linked to their song 'Drive' and Live Aid on that warm Saturday in July 1985. What a day that was!
