This guy eclipses my Piano Skills completely - and very "PROG" into the bargain . . .
I've not really heard much like THIS - since ELP . . . . ?
In this next clip - notice the supreme (and intelligent) use of the Pedals of the Steinway to create a wonderful "Wash" of sound . . .
You need the complete polyphony offered by a real Piano to do this well - together with the necessary technique of course
The ability to make the melody more prominent than the rest depends largely on striking those notes slightly harder.
This is the magic of the Piano - It does it so well . . . (The Player decides how well)

Superb pianist. One half of "I am the Morning", who I have been a fan of since I first heard them in 2014
I have put this one up on our forums before, but worth doing again. A little more subtle, but this one always sends shivers down my spine when I hear it.
