Hi Saul, I won this auction...as I will be playing live again and the Fusion is great for backing tracks/loops & has great synth engines on top.

I paid extra for postage and gave the seller a little extra for the trouble, so ended up paying just over £400. I still think I got a bargain as I didn’t need to buy a stock fusion then upgrade it.

Congrats on joining the Fusion family! ((i))

You are right, it is still a bargain given the maxed out memory etc. It is also an incredibly powerful synth. More so than almost anything else out there.

Don't forget there is also the Alesis Fusion forum with a great archive of material from Fusion owners around the world. Probably busier now on our own Fusion section here at YM and I may look to merge the two at some point but still worth registering.

Do keep us posted on how you get on with your new Fusion?

Thanks,

I still have my backup hard drive images, of all my old stuff, so I’m hoping to copy a lot of it across.

In terms of live performance, the extra RAM will be welcome as I used to have to load a couple of times during a set.

However, I am aware of ways of being more frugal with RAM these days, I might for instance, create a multisample with only a few notes worth in, if that sound is to be used in a split anyway.
