Hi,

Super late reply, guess this could be fixed or will never be read?
I bought a spare a couple of years ago, I contacted Yamaha directly and they helped me get hold of one. It was a fairly costly part for being a tremolo arm. I have it in the plastic bag it came in, still haven't used it.
Description on the package "Arm vintage-custom (SN) PAC904, 904M - 1PC 09 F206.
The number under the barcode on the packaging says QC159700, guess thats the catalog name.

I just contacted Yamaha USA and they said that both USA and Japan have no more trem arms for the 904 and couldn't tell me where to buy any replacements. So, at the very least, do we know what the size is? Is it a standard 6mm?

Probably ... why not take the guitar to your local music pusher.
If they sell Yamaha guitars, they should have a trem arm in stock.

I did. The 904 had a proprietary trem on it. However, if we can determine the diameter of trem hole, I might be able to fudge it with something else.

Hey, Would you be willing to part with your spare? I've been trying for several months to find a suitable replacement with no luck at all!

Half a year later I noticed the reply, I havn't been around the forum. Sorry.
I won't part with the arm, but I can help with measurements.
It's 5mm thick at the thickest and also thread tops. The arm is threaded about 8,5mm.
Distance between top of threads are about 0,7mm.
