I am pretty sure that I have something with Jim Dunlop's name on it laying about in all corners of my house. In fact I can see one of his capos and two 1mm nylon picks from where I sit right now. I also have fond memories of the Cry Baby Wah Wah pedal made famous by the likes of Hendrix and Page which I bought way back in 1991 which sadly disappeared many years ago.

Of course those of us of a certain age are probably getting used to losing people who were so much a part of our lives growing up. It's inevitable of course but sad just the same.

Jim Dunlop, born April 7 1936, died February 6 2019

RIP, indeed. The Telegraph obit above was a fascinating read - was in yesterday's paper. Whilst it is sad that people's time has come, Jim certainly filled his allotted time with many achievements.

Yeah he certainly achieved a lot in his 82 years. Not sure I will be leaving behind a lasting legacy but, hopefully there is still time yet! ;)
