Hi guys,

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one.

Could do with pictures of the whole thing but looks like a Pacifica 120 of some type The back of the headstock will have the model number on it. Point me to the advert and I might be able to help further

I've asked more pics and the seller should send to me later.
In the meanwhile he wrote it's a PAC 120 sj.
The guitar is really beautiful, I love natural wood, but pac 120 are the chepest ones if I remember well.

Welcome to the forum and the string section. :D

I used to own a couple of those, one in black, and one "woody" like yours.
Both of mine were pre-pacificas labeled 120SD.

It's not an expensive model, but a simple no nonsense humbucker tele,
and actually a pretty good one as well.

Best Regards
Peter

Cheers Bill. :D

The "woody": 1985
Your guitar was made on April 13th, 1985, 1995 or 2005 Production Number: 243

120SD black: 1988
Your guitar was made on August 21st, 1988, 1998 or 2008 Production Number: 12

Both made in Taiwan
I may be wrong about the years since Yamaha repeats every 10 years.

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
I've had a 120 SD, it was my first electric in the '90, great guitar, I regret selling it every time I see a pic of a 120SD.
This guitar is similar but it has a different logo on the headstock.

Yep, the one you show looks to be a Pacifica 120SD.
I think it's identical to mine, but they were produced just before the Pacifica era.
