Blimey Dd -

I remember lusting after a Bison, hanging in the Window of "Blanks" Music shop in Kilburn (long gone now, I think)

I think it had gold HW too - but it was W A Y beyond my means . . . My pocket money was 5/- a week back then IIRC

I reckon Burns had the best-looking "Horns" in the business at that time . . . . 8)

Hi Bill,
just checked your site. A nice collection of guitars there SIr! How do you ever let them go? Needs must, I guess if you are to continue to acquire

About that Bison I mentioned . . . . I SEEM to remember it had 4 pups . . . . . Is that likely?

For sure the Black with Gold fittings looked stunning

Strangely a Black Bison 1963 model has just appeared on Ebay this although he doesn't say is a model 2 which is pretty rare. I can't justify spending £500 on it when I have just bought two Yamahas in the last week.
Have a look it needs a bit of work but could be a real collectors item

Eastwood Backlund model 100

Seen on ebay, and not really something I want, but to me it's a VERY eyepleasing design. ((i)) The head design is very VOX-ish.
Eastwood has made som radical design including the Airline series. https://eastwoodguitars.com/

Interesting looking guitar. Not sure if I like it or not. How much was it going for on Ebay?
