My Studio Lord is a bolt on neck and at first it was a devil of a job to get it to stay in tune but after a lot of messing with tensions on the neck bolts and some trial and error it is fine.

I'm looking for a Studio Lord, but I'm working with a budget of $200. Is it reasonable to expect anything half decent in this range?

I don't think you would get any studio lord for that sort of money. The cheapest I have seen any in the UK is about £400 and usually they are quite a bit more than that. I would have thought US prices would be similar

They generally cost from double that to a lot more, but you might find one at a garage sale.

Hello once again! Yes mine has a bolt on neck so more than likely an SL380!

I've had mine modded with the Seymour Duncan '59 Model at the bridge and a Duncan Custom Humbucker at the neck.

Thanks everyone!
