Indeed the three way is correct and interesting to see that the knobs do look like the knobs on the one bought by Jamie

JL's Guitars/reverb (that's gotta be Jamie) now has the SX-125 for sale: https://reverb.com/item/12064998-yamaha ... ce=listing

Most of the pictures are JXR format.

@Bill

I looked VERY carefully at Jamie's guitar on Reverb.

The volume and tone knobs can't be original, all other SX models have number dials.

The 4 way pickup switch makes no sense.
If the 4th. (or any) setting is a "kill switch" you have to cancel whatever pickup selection you have to turn the pups off,
possibly running over several pickup settings before shutting the sound off.
The knob used here is a generic part, not a Yamaha knob.

The markers look like the heads of small brass nails, that can't possibly be factory standard.

The only other picture, besides those of Jamie's guitar looking like it has a turnable pickup switch is the one from the advert.
I tried to magnify that picture, but didn't get a clearer picture, it could be a rotating knob, or an ordinary 3 way switch.
Picture is much too dark and unclear to be sure what type of switch/knob is used.

No doubt that Jamie's guitar is a Yamaha SX-125, because this model has the "belly cut" , which the SX-60 and SX-80 does not.
From SX-125 and up all SX models have the "belly cut" including the NSX-2000 Exart.

The weird black "SX-125" with only 2 knobs that I posted remains a puzzle.

Regards
Peter
