Saving patches to internal memory DX7 SPX

Unread post by dadadada »

Hi,

I have recently bought a DX& Mk 1 SPX. It is awesome but I'm not sure how to save edited parches/new patches.

It has four memory banks, two of which I have full with 64 sounds. Ideally, i'd like to edit those and save them to the other two memory banks.

So far the online instructions I've found are only for saving sounds to a cartridge, and don't work with my keyboard, like here:

http://www.chipple.net/dx7/english/store.save.load.html

it would be great if I can get some help with this! Thanks in advance,

Frank

• Memory protect [INTERNAL] OFF
• Select [FUNCTION] press [12] until bank selection
• Select the destination bank using [NO -1]/[YES +1] button
• Memory select [INTERNAL] hold down [STORE] and press [1]~[32]
