Chasing The Dragon

Unread post by Quietly » Wed Feb 19, 2020 1:42 pm

The Dragon being drug abuse. This one was born after my viewing an FBI video on Opiate abuse not the best subject to get inspiration from but I'm afraid my brain just works that way.

Those who can't dance always blame the band.
Yamaha Revstar RS620, Yamaha HS80M Monitors, Focusrite 2i4 Audio Interface, NI Komplete 10 Ultimate, Komplete Kontrol S61 Keyboard. Cubase 10.5 Pro, Studio One 4.6 Pro, Numerous VST instruments. PC getting old with 4GB of RAM
Windows 10 64 Bit but it still does the job.

Very nice . . . . could be be film outro music over the credits . . . . .

The harmony swoops in the background do suggest the continent too . . . .

Nice measured guitar work as well . . .

Why thank you my friend as always I appreciate your comments. I should have mentioned that the FBI YouTube Video is called "Chasing The Dragon" so should anyone want to see it just open YouTube and search it. Not the happiest Video in the World but gives you an insight into just how destructive Opiates are.

Onwards and upwards,

A great track this and the choice of sounds are perfect. I can only aspire to getting anything sounding as good as this. I just have to dump my Tyros and invest in VSTs!

Thanks Paul. I used to have a Motif Rack which I still miss but there is no doubt in my mind that with VST's you can concentrate on the specific sounds that you want to use. In this instance several Chinese instruments from Kong Audio. Another example I love a Duduk and often use the one produced by
Ilya Efimov https://www.ilyaefimov.com/products/duduk.html. Mind you if I could afford a Tyros I would have one LOL. Boys can never have too many toys.

Take care,
