Modulation Wheel

Unread post by chesterkins » Mon Oct 16, 2017 12:40 pm

Just changed from a T4 to T5 and I am getting some strange sounds when I play older styles even T4 styles
Does the modulation wheel play a bigger role on the T5 as it seems I need to play with the wheel to get a good sound especially with organ and guitar voices but also others
Am I on the right track or are some older styles unplayable on the T5

I don't have a Tyros but I do remember reading somewhere that sounds from the T4 although compatible with the T5 did need some tweaking when imported.

I was always under the impression that the T5 would be backwardly compatible with the T4 but apparently this was not the case. Perhaps someone else can comment on this?
