Change Voice of accompaniment

Unread post by omits » Sat Apr 28, 2012 8:23 pm

PSR-E333. How do I change the Voice when using the ACMP. Mine seems to always use an organ type sound which drowns say a piano voice in the main keys. I am a novice and not using the backing sounds.

Well the manual says select the Voice and then press ACMP, OK the voice for the main keys change but the chords don't. Hoping someone can help. If you get chance to go into a music shop perhaps ask there? I will do this next week and try to report back.

I might be talking rubbish as I am still struggling to play, but after searching the manual I think that you go to function, navigate down to split voice "S.Voice" and then choose the instrument you want as a the backing, then when you play auto chords it fills in with the new voice. Dont forget to turn Split voice to on, 4th switch from right on keyboard.

Thanks for that, I'll look at it carefuly as it did not produce any backing!
