SY22 Factory Reset

Unread post by FailedMuso »

I'm going to be dumping a load of new banks into my SY22 later in order to store them on a memory card so I will be overwriting the factory internals and then saving to the card. Once I am done, will a system initialisation restore the factory patches or do I need to reinstall them?

As from my understanding by performing the last procedure of the inbuilt test program the internal memory gets initialized and needs a reload of the data to 'get the synth back to life again'...

Turns out the Initialisation option within test mode restores the internal patches too :) No reloading required :)
