psr-s500 Foot switch query

Unread post by berldog » Fri Jan 25, 2008 6:59 pm

Hi there, is it possible to switch the rythm unit on and off using a foot switch instead of using the synchro stop on the keyboard. Thanks, Mike :?:

Hi Mike,
The only footswitch jack I see listed in the specs is for sustain, don't see any others. If that is the case then the answer is no (unless there is a programmable utility setting for the sustain jack, and I seriously doubt that).

from my experience with my S-900, I'm able to do that with the sustain pedal. Just set it within the controller set up. Not sure with the S-500 which I assume supposed to be able to do the same. good luck.
