Modx super knob.

Unread post by BigAndBadDog » Mon Nov 12, 2018 8:45 pm

Hello from upstate NY. I am expecting my Modx tomorrow. I am upgrading from having two Moxf's. My first question is a simple one. After watching a number of videos it appears that the pulsing super knob might drive me crazy. Can the pulsing be turned off? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your MODX purchase

You can indeed turn the Super Knob flashing light off or you can make it a solid light instead of pulsating and adjust it's brightness...so something for everyone there :)

Ah, I have my new MODx and am trying to navigate through the manuals. I have found out how to change the Super Knob led settings by performance but would like to do it globally. Can someone direct me to it or is it not possible?
thank you

Glad to hear you got your MODX

If you go into Settings and then 'System' you will see the Super Knob on/off etc in there :)

Thank you, Saul. Now one more question. I want to transpose a performance (one performance only) It seems that if I use the xpose function it changes all performances. Can't seem to change just one. Can anyone help?

I am sure there is a way to do this...or I hope there is but so far I have not found it. Does anyone else know how to do this?

I agree that would be useful. But it's not there. One one my earliest feature request. What you can (and for now have to) do is to get through the individual parts of the performance and transpose each of them. Then store the performance. A bit tedious but doable and works fine.
I have added a feature request on Ideascale which did not get many votes, yet (hint hint :-) ).
