I just purchased my first Yamaha guitar, a Revstar RS620. So far I'm quite pleased with it. There are a couple of improvements that could be made but for the price I had to pay I would consider it a good value. I would consider my skill level to be advanced beginner or possibly intermediate. I know that I can learn a lot from the other members here and looking forward to it.

Hi, easterik, welcome to the forums :)

I see you are in the West of the country, are you affected by the heatwave going on there at the moment?

It is definitely hot. My house has adequate A/C so it isn't such a big deal for me. I don't want to complain too much as other places in the southwest US like Arizona routinely get this hot. At the grocery store last night I thought that I would pickup some popsicles for my kids. Everyone else must have had the same idea because there wasn't much of a selection.
