SY77 filter FM

Yamaha SY77 is a 16 voice multitimbral music workstation first produced by Yamaha Corporation in 1989. The SY77 is a synthesizer whose architecture combines AFM (Advanced Frequency Modulation) synthesis, AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) for ROM-borne sample-based synthesis, and the combination of these two methods christened Realtime Convolution and Modulation Synthesis (RCM).

SY77 filter FM

Greetings all,

I've gone through the manual but can't seem to find out how to assign an operator to modulate filter cutoff. I've seen others mention filter FM on the SY77. I have two SY77s, so I'd love to try this out. What menu should I be looking at?

Can't be done. Use the FEG or the LFO.
Yamaha: SY85, TG500, A3000, PSR48, PSS780
Kawai: K4
Ensoniq: SQ2

Long Gone: Far too much gear from the 80's and 90's that went out the door for £££! Moved to soft synth city instead.
