SY99 sound and floppy disk issue

SY99 sound and floppy disk issue

Hi to all, new to the forum.

I've just acquired a SY99 in good condition. There is however a problem with the sound. The whole keyboard appears to be transposed down 3-4 octaves. The sound only sounds natural on the top octave or so and the lower octaves sounds like very slow playing samples. There is a 'Change wave Bat Int' message when the machine is powered on, so i think it is likely due to this?
