Logic sound-diver adaptation for SY85 - anyone want it?

The Yamaha SY85 is a digital music workstation introduced in 1992. Unlike other Yamaha synthesizers of the time (SY77 and the SY99) the SY85 does not use FM synthesis. Instead, its sounds are based on samples, which can be layered and modified to create new sounds.

Hi there Rob,

I'm just revisiting using my SY85 after a few years of neglect, and whilst browsing for an editor, came across your posts here... :)
Would it be possible to send me the sound-diver adaptation for SY85 please?

I can buy the sound-diver program from ebay for about £11, so I'm hopeful of being able to edit sounds on my SY85 soon!

Best regards,
Austin

Hi Austin, I'm not currently able to attach the adaptation to a PM. Please PM me your email address and I'll get back to you.

Question for moderators: would it be acceptable to add the SY85 adaptation to the "Yamaha SY85 & TG500 Downloads" page, or are there any IP concerns about this (as I understand, the vendor and product are defunct, having been bought up by Apple in 2002)?

Thanks,
Rob
