Yup I can understand that. Too much stuff and you can get bogged down. I am wondering if u-he will ever release that analog modeling drum software they once demoed for folks, a 'research demo'. It sounded pretty good. There's far too little analog modeling stuff out there, and for drums? Well there's the Korg Wavedrum, not much else. I am going to try that at least. I am not a drums guy, but sometimes when I want a drum, I think I'll be preferring the liveliness of that modeled drum to most sample library drums.

You could always ask them directly on their U-HE KVR forum.

Good thought. I just emailed them through their website -- might as well go directly.

Well, sorry to say re: the drum project I've been told the project is not going forward, it's a closed book. I recall reading in the past they were trying to secure funding for it, I guess that wasn't possible.

Some of the tech developed might find its way into other projects, but there's no drum synth in the works anymore.

A shame then, but fair play for them getting back to you so quickly
