CPX-5 Manual

The CPX are high quality series of acoustic guitars featuring tops made from select pieces of spruce on bodies and backs of flamed maple. The CPX is designed to provide great playability for on-stage performance with large and deep bodies that deliver a dynamic sound, bracing designs that resist feedback, and single cutaways that provide access to the upper neck.

Hi cpxfan,
Welcome to the Forums! I searched both Yamaha's product archive site and their owner's manual download site and could find no manual for the CPX5. I did find a brochure that just showed models and a couple of product descriptions, nothing that looked like it would be helpful to you.

There aren't any user manuals for the CPX range. Probably this is because there isn't actually much to them in terms of needing instructions.

If there is anything you need to know I am sure I can answer your questions :)

Re: CPX 700 and DI Box

Hi.
Does the CPX700 use a Mono or a TRS jack output as I need to connect it to a mixing console and a DI box was recommended.
Thanks

Not sure why I missed this post but just to answer the question. I always used a standard mono lead and that worked fine.

I also don't use any sort of Di box when going into the mixer (Behringer QX1202USB https://amzn.to/2VnGb7m), which has good preamp, compression sections etc.

I am just wondering how you got on with it?
