I'm mainly a classical pianist with a P-125 digital piano, but I just joined a funk band that will probably require me to do a little pitch bending.
Rather than spend a ton on an entirely new keyboard with a pitch wheel, I remembered that there was a free Yamaha Sound Controller app (not to be confused with the Digital Piano Controller app), developed only for iphone & ipad, that had a pitch bending capability as one of its primary features.
I was just about to buy an old second hand iphone just for this purpose but then saw that the app has been discontinued...
- Well first of all, if any of you have this software downloaded anywhere - be aware that it's been discontinued, so hold on to it if you use it!
- Second of all, if any of you do still have this software downloaded as an executable file, would you be willing to share it?
- Finally, have any of you used this app on any Yamaha keyboard? What did you think of your experience? I haven't been able to find anybody's experience with it on these forums...

PS I know there are ways to run my P-125's MIDI to a DAW connected to an external pitch wheel, but I am trying to avoid such a complicated and potentially somewhat expensive setup. All I have is a digital piano and I want to be as mobile as possible for simple bar gigs and such. And besides, I really like instrument's native quality sounds and would rather not have it playing midi.
PPS FYI, I've never had an iphone/ipad to test it in the past, nor have I heard of anybody successfully using it with a P-125, but as you can see from my yellow highlighting in my screenshot, Yamaha says its compatible.
