LMMS - DAW

Unread post by Rara »

LMMS is free DAW, quoted as being the next best or closest thing to FL studio one could get.
I am not hugely familiar with LMMS, I have not spent a lot of time on this.
There are many tutorials on YT to get a person started.
Included are some plugins to get you started
Compatible with SF2 sound font files, there are many free fonts available with a bit of a search.
Completely free and available for windows, mac and linux.

Hello,

I have already used it and I find it a good alternative. But some features are better.

Same question as I asked about Presonus:-

Does anyone know if the free version and / or the full version of this DAW can sync to an incoming MIDI time clock signal being generated by another MIDI source including MIDI START / MIDI STOP?

I would ask over at the lmms forum, looks relatively active in the support section. Otherwise, maybe download and try it.
