It has been ages since I put out a guitar video. This one had been sitting on my hard drive for quite some time and eventually, I decided I should do something with it.

The guitar in question is the Breedlove Rainforest S Papillon CE. I do wish guitar makers would come up with some more snappy names for their guitars

Breedlove makes a big thing about the sustainability credentials of their guitars and whilst that may have once been big news, I think most major brands are catching up and also using non-clear-cut woods these days. And whilst all this is laudable, the important thing with any instrument is how it sounds and how well it plays.

On both counts these Rainforest series guitars are pretty good. I am not sure I would buy one though.

As nice as they are, I think there are better guitars out there for the money. At least in pure sound terms anyway.
