I’ve been searching for a first generation SG 1500. Everything I have read indicates these have single binding on the headstock. However, I’ve encountered multiple postings of SG 1500s for sale (in the US) with triple binding on the headstocks. Always a bit leery of online ads and potential for misunderstanding/ misrepresenting an instruments. So, my question: does anyone know whether some first gen 1500s sported triple binding?
