The TransAcoustic guitar is an instrument that uses a built in transducer and on-board processing to produce the same incredible sound found in a great sounding room without a need for external amps or effects.
It seems that Yamaha has finally updated their TransAcsoutic guitars with some modern tech.
They have built on their original idea of adding effects like reverb and chorus directly into the guitar, but now the new models come with a looper and Bluetooth support. There is also an associated app so that you can delve a little deeper and adjust the sound and effects to your liking.

Forgot to add that the price for the TAG3 C is $1699/£1639 or £1799 depending on which rip off store you order from! It does come with a hardshell case though
One extremely annoying and typically "Yamaha" feature is the proprietary charging port! No simple universal USB-C here, oh no, Yamaha has to make it a complete pain in the ass and go with their own, completely unnecessary design. So make sure you don't mislay that lead or you won't be able to charge the effects part of the guitar.

Not that long ago I have read that proprietary chargers/connectors won't be allowed in Europe from 2025 (2026?) anymore and only USB C will be allowed (for 5V devices). For higher voltage DC devices (i.e. 12V, 18V, etc.), already standardized jack connector must be used. Reason for this measure was to reduce electronic waste.
I have no idea if that also applies to this specific guitar
I really do not understand why Yamaha has gone down the road of a non-standard charging port. USB-C would have been perfect and instead we have yet one more cable to add to the enormous amount of cables we have already. The EU is not my favorite institution but they got it absolutely right on this occasion. The sooner we get standard charging across all products the better
The guitar looks nice though

Hi folks.
New to the Forum but I am really keen to have this guitar asap in the UK.
Does anyone know where I can source one for quick delivery?
Welcome to the forum
I think the earliest you could probably get one would be toward the end of November.
