Sx and Genos Series --Why No Mouse Support ?

Unread post by Nova227 »

This question is not relative to performing its in the setup and work in a studio.

Most if not all studio software have mouse supporrt . Why not the new Yamaha Arrangers ?

I have an Sx 900 attched to an external minitor.

I find myself leaning over the internal display ( not easy to see from some angles) with an out stretched arm picking at a small touch screen
while i have large easy to read minitor in front of me.

It would seem to me that a mouse device would improve the ergonmics significantly.

Any thoughts on this ?

Hello,

Yamaha arrangers don't support the management of a double screen ( arranger ) in touch and no mouse either ... Ketron does on the EVENT range ...

As long as the successor(s) to the Genos2 don't have this function, the other ranges will have to wait.

I can only do it on my GBL, but it's a software arranger with its 16” touchscreen/keyboard/mouse interface ... like the latest Ketron module.

It'll be a long time before we get it!
