PSR S975 firmware

Unread post by Joe H »

I'm thinking of buying a PSR S975 keyboard sometime in the future. What was the last firmware for this keyboard? I didn't see any firmware updates on Yamaha's download page.

Thanks in advance.

There aren't any because, for all intents and purposes, it's a PSRs970 (but with 4 preinstalled expansion packs, 50% more memory, a half bar fill option) so they just used the final PSR970 OS

Does that mean I would use the v1.06 S970 update or are you saying that the S975 was shipped with the final firmware version and never needed any updates?

Exactly this.
As Mark said, S975 is actually an updated S970 and there was simply no need for any further updates.
