Just got a THR5A to play my nylon crossover guitar through and I like everything about it. I have a question…is the Nylon Mic Type designed to simulate a nylon string guitar when inputting a steel string? Or is it the intended path when inputting a nylon string like mine? I do prefer the Condenser and Dynamic settings (over Tube), and Nylon doesn’t do much for me.
The way I see it the Condenser/Dynamic/Tube settings are as if I’m micing my nylon string guitar (with ability to mix in a percentage of UST output).
The reviews I’ve seen are not clear on this…what’s your take?
Thanks,
Architar
