Custom scenes not working? - SOLVED

Unread post by deadline »

UPDATE: I figured out the problem, but I'll leave this here for any other noobs like me who might be confused by this. The solution was I had to go into the Scene tab on the left, then make sure the "Mixing" Memory button was turned ON for each scene. Seems like this should be the default, but whatever :)

Original Post:
Hello!

I have a custom performance with 3 parts. I am trying to set it up so that scene 1 mutes part three, while scene 2 mutes part two. In other words:

Scene 1: parts one and two
Scene 2. parts one and three

So, while viewing my performance I mute part 3 and press SHIFT + SCENE 1 buttons. Then I unmute part three and mute part two and press SHIFT + SCENE 2 buttons.

Both times I get the "Scene stored." message at the top of the screen. However, after doing all this when I try to toggle between the two scenes by pressing the scene buttons, nothing happens. It always remains in the last state I manually put it in.

Am I doing something wrong? Seems like this should be working.

Thanks in advance for any help.
